IMG_5268At MVP Kids Care, we see a lot of children with allergy symptoms. Common symptoms like sneezing and runny noses are often nothing more than an annoyance, but more serious symptoms, such as hives, swelling of the throat or difficulty breathing can be very serious.

Over-the-counter allergy medications can reduce symptoms, but they cannot answer the question: What is my child allergic to?

That’s why MVP Kids Care is now offering allergy skin testing for patients with a history of possible allergies. The test is a simple, safe and effective way for us to figure out what is causing your child’s symptoms. Results from these tests can improve the way we treat your child, and they can also help you avoid potential allergy triggers moving forward.

If you think your child may have allergies, ask your provider whether or not skin testing might help.
